Registered Nurse - PICU - Nights

Role Overview: This position involves providing professional nursing care in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), ensuring patient safety and well-being according to hospital policies and Illinois nursing standards. Key Responsibilities Assess patient conditions, recognize changes, and plan and evaluate care with critical thinking skills.Monitor patient progress, document observations, and delegate tasks appropriately to team members.Collaborate with the healthcare team to achieve unit goals and deliver family-centered care. Qualifications & Skills Current Illinois Registered Nursing Licensure required.Minimum of 18 months recent inpatient PICU experience.BSN preferred; BLS and PALS certifications through AHA required.
