Registered Nurse - Per Diem, Varies/Rotating, Emergency Department

About the Role

Utilize the nursing process to deliver patient care, ensuring accountability and evaluating care effectiveness provided by team members. Coordinate patient care across departments while maintaining patient rights and confidentiality, aligning with organizational values and standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing duties in accordance with mission and standards, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
• Maintain professional accountability and ensure quality care delivery.
• Provide patient-centered nursing care and collaborate with healthcare teams.
• Uphold patient rights and ensure confidentiality.
• Maintain professional standards and adapt to department-specific certification requirements.

Requirements

• Active RN license in the relevant state or compact licensure.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program (Associate's, Diploma, or BSN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; additional certifications such as ACLS, PALS, or others may be required based on department.
• Ability to lift, push, pull 50 pounds, and perform physical tasks including standing, walking, reaching, and bending.
