Registered Nurse - Per Diem, Emergency Department

About the role

Provide compassionate, personalized patient care across all hospital units, including pediatric, adolescent, and geriatric populations. Demonstrate flexibility to float across units, strong clinical judgment, and teamwork in a challenging environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform head-to-toe patient assessments
• Utilize triage to ensure timely care delivery
• Manage patient pain with appropriate techniques
• Communicate effectively with physicians regarding clinical changes
• Respond swiftly to patient needs and adjust nursing care accordingly

Requirements

• Current Nevada nursing license
• ACLS and BLS certifications
• Minimum of 2.5 years of Emergency Room experience
• PALS certification required within six months of employment
