Registered Nurse - Per Diem - Emergency Department

About the role

Provides comprehensive inpatient nursing care, assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient treatments to ensure safety, comfort, and satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments and address physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs.
• Develop, coordinate, and execute individualized care plans including patient and family education and discharge planning.
• Administer treatments, medications, and diagnostic tests per policies.
• Evaluate intervention effectiveness and adjust care plans accordingly.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to meet patient needs.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and participate in evidence-based practice decisions.
• Contribute to quality and safety initiatives and unit goals.

Qualifications & Skills

Graduate from a nursing specialty training program. Strong assessment skills, team-oriented, accountable, with critical care experience preferred. Ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered care in a clinical environment.
