Registered Nurse - Per Diem - Nights

About the role

The Staff Nurse provides safe, compassionate nursing care across patient populations by planning, implementing, and evaluating care plans. Collaborating with the clinical team, including nurses and physicians, ensures optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care in a Level 2E Special Care Nursery
• Participate in patient assessments and care planning
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members
• Ensure compliance with clinical protocols and safety standards

Requirements

• Associate Degree or higher in Nursing; Bachelor’s Degree preferred within five years if holding an Associate Degree
• Minimum of 2 years of NICU Level 3 RN experience preferred
• Current Illinois RN licensure
• Valid BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required within six months
