Registered Nurse - Peds PICU - Days

Role Overview: Provides specialized nursing care in a 16-bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, focusing on family-centered care. This part-time position involves working day shifts from 7 am to 7:30 pm, including rotating weekends and holidays. Responsibilities: Deliver comprehensive pediatric critical care, ensure patient safety, collaborate with healthcare teams, and support family needs. Maintain compliance with clinical standards and participate in patient and family education. Qualifications & Skills: Valid Illinois RN license, current BLS certification, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within three months. Preferred candidates have at least 2 years of PICU RN experience and an Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing. Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills are essential.
