Registered Nurse - PICU - Days

Position Overview: This role involves providing specialized nursing care in a 16-bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit with a focus on family-centered care. The nurse will work full-time hours, including rotating weekends and holidays, in Naperville, IL, from 7 am to 7:30 pm. Key Responsibilities Deliver high-quality, patient-centered nursing care to pediatric patients in a PICU setting.Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.Ensure compliance with clinical protocols and safety standards.Support family involvement and education during hospitalization. Qualifications & Skills Illinois Registered Professional Nurse (RN) license.Associate Degree or higher in Nursing; Bachelor’s Degree preferred if Associate Degree is held.Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.Pediatric Life Support (PALS) certification within three months of hire.Preferred: 2+ years of Pediatric PICU RN experience.
