Registered Nurse - PCU (Rotating)

About the Role

This position is for a registered nurse in the Progressive Care Unit, providing direct patient care in a technically complex environment. The RN utilizes the nursing process, prioritizes evidence-based practice, and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver top-of-scope nursing care utilizing clinical standards like AACN’s Synergy Model.
• Mentor and precept new healthcare team members.
• Support safety and quality at the point of care.
• Participate in specialty education and competency validation supported by clinical educators.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program and licensed as a Registered Nurse.
• Minimum 6 months ICU or PCU nursing experience or completion of a fellowship program.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification through the American Heart Association or Red Cross, valid through sixty days of hire.
