About the role

The RN Team Lead supervises and coordinates nursing care within a unit, collaborating with management to plan and delegate patient care based on skill, experience, acuity, and resources. Responsibilities include staff development, teaching, precepting, participating in quality improvement, and supporting evidence-based practice and research.

Responsibilities

• Manage direct patient care
• Provide patient/family education
• Support transitions of care
• Ensure adherence to the Mayo Nursing Care Model and standards

Requirements

• Nursing diploma or associate degree
• At least one year of RN experience
• Certified (current licensure)
