Registered Nurse - Part-Time Nights

The registered nurse (RN) is responsible for coordinating comprehensive nursing care, including direct patient interactions, patient/family education, and care transitions. They support professional nursing practices across various settings, ensuring all phases of care are planned, implemented, evaluated, and communicated effectively. The RN demonstrates leadership through precepting, team participation, and quality improvement initiatives. Delegation of patient care is based on skill, experience, acuity, resources, and fiscal considerations. The role requires excellent communication, mentoring, and teaching skills, with opportunities for committee involvement. Some positions may involve driving personal vehicles as part of job duties. This role is eligible for TN sponsorship and welcomes F1 OPT candidates with appropriate licensure and certification. Qualifications: Baccalaureate nursing graduate, preferred one year of RN or LPN experience at Mayo Clinic. Must hold current RN license, demonstrate effective communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills. Computer proficiency and experience with electronic medical records are preferred. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, and adapt to unpredictable situations. Additional licensure or certification may be required based on the work area.
