Registered Nurse - Part Time - Medical Surgical

About the role

Registered Nurse (RN) in a medical-surgical unit, responsible for utilizing the nursing process to deliver patient care, evaluate the effectiveness of care provided by others, and coordinate with various departments.

Responsibilities

• Maintain patient rights and confidentiality
• Ensure accountability for assigned patients
• Perform nursing responsibilities aligned with organizational standards

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program (Associate Degree, Nursing Diploma, or BSN)
• Current RN licensure in Missouri or valid compact license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, with completion within 30 days of hire

Preferred experience

• Hospital settings
• Specialty certifications

Skills & physical requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand and walk for extended periods
• Proficiency in gripping, reaching, bending, and other physical tasks necessary for patient care
