About the role
The Registered Nurse (RN) provides high-quality patient care, ensuring positive outcomes through compassionate and efficient nursing practices. Working under general supervision, the RN coordinates patient care via the nursing process and multidisciplinary collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient needs and conditions to deliver appropriate care in their assigned unit.
- Analyze medical history, diagnostic results, and current status to develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Reconcile medical records for accuracy and compliance with standards.
- Monitor patient responses to interventions and adjust care as needed.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team for effective care planning.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of RN experience; specialty experience preferred.
- Valid RN license in North Carolina or a Compact state.
- BLS certification.
