Registered Nurse - PACU/Recovery - Days

Role Overview: Provides direct nursing care to anesthetized patients in the post-operative or post-procedural period within Surgical Services/PACU/Recovery. Adheres to aseptic sterile techniques following AORN/ASPAN standards.Evaluates patient responses to treatments and interventions.Manages patient pain effectively.Anticipates case-specific needs based on procedure knowledge and physiology. Qualifications: Licensed Registered Nurse credential from the Alabama Board of Nursing required prior to employment.CPR certification (BLS) within 30 days; Advanced Life Support (ACLS) within 6 months of hire.Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
