Registered Nurse - PACU/Recovery - Days

About the Role

Provide direct nursing care for anesthetized patients in the immediate post-operative or post-procedural period. Follow aseptic sterile techniques according to industry standards. Evaluate patient responses to treatments and interventions. Manage patient pain and anticipate case-specific needs based on procedures and pathophysiology.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, effective post-anesthesia care in a hospital setting.
• Adhere to established sterile and safety protocols.
• Assess patient needs and respond with appropriate interventions.

Requirements

• Licensed Registered Nurse with licensure from the Alabama Board of Nursing.
• Current BLS certification within 30 days of hire; ACLS certification within 180 days.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
