Registered Nurse - PACU, Part Time

About the Role

This part-time Registered Nurse position in the PACU involves providing direct patient care across diverse age groups in a surgical environment. The nurse assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care, monitors physiological status post-surgery, and communicates with surgical team members. Responsibilities

• Perform head-to-toe assessments of patients post-surgery.
• Manage pain and reassess patient comfort levels.
• Educate patients and families on post-operative care.

• Participate in performance improvement activities.

Requirements

• Active Nevada RN license.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Graduate from an accredited RN program.
• Preferred: One year full-time or three years part-time experience in a PACU setting.
