Registered Nurse - PACU - Evenings

Position: Registered Nurse Location: Evanston with ability to travel to other hospitals Type: Part-time Hours: 5p to 11p M-W-F with call requirements Responsibilities Include Providing safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care across diverse patient populationsUtilizing the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plansInvolving patients and families in care decisions where appropriateMaintaining regulatory compliance and ensuring quality outcomesLeading and guiding unlicensed nursing personnel in interdisciplinary care deliveryCollaborating with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomesProviding perioperative care for patients undergoing Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT)Managing Phase 1 & 2 peri-anesthesia care from operating rooms and procedures areas Qualifications Include Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferredValid IL RN licenseMinimum of 1 year of relevant experience; PACU, ICU, or Behavioral Health preferredCurrent CPR/BLS certification; ACLS and PALS preferredCPAN/CAPA certification preferred Key skills: compassionate patient care, strong communication, teamwork, regulatory knowledge, clinical proficiency in perioperative and anesthesia care
