Responsibilities
- Provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care across various patient populations, utilizing the nursing process for planning, implementing, and evaluating care plans.
- Involve patients and families in care decisions and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Assume responsibility and accountability for nursing outcomes, making informed decisions based on therapeutic relationships.
- Supervise and guide unlicensed nursing personnel in delivering interdisciplinary care.
- Collaborate effectively with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care.
- Perform perioperative care for patients undergoing Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT).
- Manage Phase 1 & 2 peri-anesthesia care for patients from Operating Rooms and support areas.
Qualifications
- Graduate of a state-approved nursing school; BSN preferred.
- Valid IL RN license.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a comparable role; PACU, ICU, or Behavioral Health experience preferred.
- Current CPR/BLS certification; ACLS and PALS preferred.
- CPAN/CAPA certification preferred.
