Registered Nurse - Orthopedic/Trauma

About the role

Provide direct patient care in a hybrid orthopedic/trauma unit focused on innovative practices and technologies.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing care, including monitoring, patient education, and discharge planning.
• Support professional nursing practices across various care settings.
• Participate in developing advanced deterioration detection, piloting new technologies, and integrating virtual support.
• Contribute to documentation efficiencies and partner with Virtual Registered Nurses (ViRN).
• Mentor, lead, and participate in quality improvement activities.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• One year of RN experience.
• Current RN license, BLS certification, and additional state licensure as required.
• Strong communication, teamwork, critical thinking, and computer skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to changing situations.
