About the Role

The Registered Nurse provides comprehensive nursing care during patients' hospital stay, assessing, managing, and coordinating with interdisciplinary teams using a patient-centered approach.

Responsibilities

• Conducts thorough assessments, develops and evaluates individualized care plans based on data and standards, and implements nursing interventions.
• Collaborates with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care.
• Administers medications and documents care accurately.
• Educates patients and families on health management and care plans.
• Recognizes and responds to changes in patient condition promptly.
• Manages specialized care such as restraints, pain management, and infection control practices.
• Maintains effective communication with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
• Provides high-quality service and participates in performance improvement and evidence-based practice initiatives.
• Performs patient assessments and formulates/updates care plans.
• Administers treatments and ensures accurate documentation.
• Involves families in care decisions and provides age-appropriate, cost-effective care.
• Contributes to unit and hospital performance improvement efforts.
• Ensures a safe, clean environment and maintains patient confidentiality.
• Demonstrates service excellence and teamwork in a dynamic healthcare setting.

Requirements

• Active RN license in the relevant state.
• Required certifications such as BLS (Basic Life Support).
• Demonstrates professionalism, adaptability, and commitment to teamwork.
• Prioritizes safety, quality, and patient dignity.
• Completes mandatory training and adheres to hospital policies.
• Effective communication and respectful interactions with patients, families, and colleagues.
