Registered Nurse OR Service Line Lead GYN

About the Role

The OR Service Line Lead GYN oversees daily operations of specific surgical service lines, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and coordinating interdisciplinary team efforts to deliver quality patient care. This role collaborates with healthcare teams to execute patient care plans in accordance with legal and institutional standards, manages staff education, outcome tracking, physician outreach, customer service, revenue integrity, and budget responsibilities. On-call duties and additional assigned tasks may be required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure operational excellence within the surgical service line.
• Maintain regulatory compliance and coordinate interdisciplinary team efforts.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to execute patient care plans.
• Manage staff education and development initiatives.
• Track and improve patient outcomes.
• Conduct physician outreach and enhance customer service.
• Oversee revenue integrity and budget responsibilities.
• Take call as needed and perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Current RN licensure in the state or active multistate license.
• Current BLS certification from AHA or ARC.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of OR experience; experience in specialty service line coordination preferred.
