Registered Nurse OR

Role: Provide professional nursing care in the surgical setting, supporting patients undergoing invasive procedures. Responsibilities Perform scrub functions by selecting and handling surgical instruments and supplies.Conduct circulating duties, including monitoring, recording, and communicating patient conditions.Assist surgeons with tasks such as hemostasis, suturing, wound exposure, and patient positioning.Prepare operating rooms, surgical instruments, and equipment for procedures. Qualifications Registered Nurse licensure from the Indiana Board of Nursing.Certification in Advanced Life Support (within 6 months) or BLS Provider (within 1 month), accepted by American Heart Association or Red Cross.Diploma from an accredited nursing school or professional licensure at hire. Preferred Skills: Previous OR experience is highly desirable. Key qualities: Strong clinical skills, ability to assist in surgical procedures, and attention to patient safety and care.
