Registered Nurse - Operating Room - Full Time

About the role

This role involves providing patient-centered nursing care through comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation, adhering to ethical standards and scope of practice.

Responsibilities

• Perform holistic patient assessments across physical, psychosocial, spiritual, and educational domains.
• Identify patient needs, establish care priorities, and develop individualized, measurable care plans in collaboration with patients and families.
• Implement evidence-based interventions, delegate tasks appropriately, and respond effectively to emergencies.
• Continuously evaluate patient responses, adjust care plans, and ensure continuity during handoffs and transfers.
• Document all nursing activities accurately in electronic medical records.
• Demonstrate leadership by mentoring peers, participating in performance improvement, and supporting professional growth.

Requirements

• Current Ohio RN licensure.
• BLS certification (required).
• ACLS certification within 6 months for specific units.
• Ability to provide culturally and age-specific care.
• Effective communication skills and ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Basic knowledge of nursing sciences and commitment to continuous professional development.
