Registered Nurse - Operating Room - Days/Evenings

Position: Registered Nurse Location: Chicago Type: Full-time Hours: Availability from 11a to 3p M-F with call requirements including evenings, nights, and weekends. Responsibilities Utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for patients and families.Maintain competency aligned with current standards and integrate evidence-based practices.Contribute to professional development of peers, promote safety, and supervise staff in patient care.Document thoroughly and timely, and perform other duties as needed.Recognize and respond effectively to emergency situations. Qualifications & Skills: Graduate from an accredited nursing program.Valid IL RN license, CPR/BLS, with ACLS, PALS, NRP within 90 days.At least one year of experience as a staff nurse preferred; strong communication and supervisory skills.Reliable transportation for floating between facilities.
