Orthopedic Associates Surgery Center is seeking to fill a full-time OR Register Nurse (40 hours per week) to join their team. Requirements

• Unencumbered active CT RN License
• Minimum of 2 years OR experience; ambulatory surgery center experience preferred, orthopedic preferred
• BLS and ACLS Certifications required
• Able to communicate effectively, and have an ability to work compatibly with all physicians and staff
• Possess strong organizational skills, and a clear understanding of the importance of efficiency and cost effectiveness in an ambulatory surgery center
• Knowledge and clinical skills to perform the job duties of an OR Circulator
• RNA strong knowledge of aseptic technique, anesthetic agents and complications, and the ability to handle emergency situations
• Experience with Orthopedic procedures (specifically total joints) a plus
• Able to scrub cases a plus

Schedule

This is a Monday – Friday position with NO Weekends or Holidays. Position schedule can vary (5x8hr or 4x10hr).
