Responsibilities
- Assesses, plans, implements direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per shift basis.
- Supervises staff to which appropriate care is delegated.
- Supports CNO to ensure high quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care, competency of clinical staff, and appropriate resource management related to patient care.
- Provides high-quality, safe, cost-effective, total nursing care to all patients.
- Coordinates and integrates patient care based on the nursing process.
- Directs care according to established standards of safety, risk management, QI, and Infection Control.
- Coordinates and plans patient care within the prescribed medical regime.
- Fulfills HICS responsibilities, assignments, tasks, and roles as directed and needed by the facility in times of emergency and/or disaster.
- Knows and adheres to the Hospital’s emergency codes and policies.
Requirements
- Graduated from a state-approved school of nursing or an accredited school.
- Currently licensed, certified, or registered to practice profession as required by law, regulation in state of practice or policy.
- CPR certification preferred.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in nursing.
Skills
- Operating room experience.
- Supervisory skills.
- Direct patient care.
- BLS/CPR certification.
Pay
Up to $20,000 sign-on bonus based on eligibility.
