About the role
The Registered Nurse in the Operating Room provides leadership within a team to deliver personalized patient care during surgical procedures.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
- Establish authentic relationships with patients and their support systems, utilizing evidence-based practices and compassion.
- Manage and deliver care in accordance with policies and procedures, accepting accountability and responsibility for patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- Prior operating room experience required.
- Current RN licensure in the appropriate state.
- Preferred education includes a Bachelor’s degree; graduation from an accredited nursing school.
- One year of relevant experience preferred.
- For inactive licenses, completion of a Board-approved refresher course is necessary.
