Role Overview
The Registered Nurse Operating Room (OR) provides patient-centered perioperative care across multiple healthcare facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients pre-surgery
- Educate patients and families
- Prepare patients with medications and therapies
- Perform surgical site verification
- Respond to emergencies
- Document patient conditions
Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams
Ensure adherence to safety protocols.
Qualifications & Skills
- Current RN licensure
- BLS certification
- Minimum one year OR experience
- ACLS/PALS within six months
- PREFERRED: CNOR certification
- B.S.N. preferred
