About the Role
A Critical Care Nurse Educator plans, develops, coordinates, implements, and evaluates educational programs for Critical Care and Cath Lab staff. This role acts as a facilitator, educator, and resource, assessing staff learning needs, providing clinical instruction, supporting staff development, and assisting in maintaining high standards of patient care.
Responsibilities
- Plan, develop, and coordinate educational programs for Critical Care and Cath Lab staff
- Implement and evaluate training initiatives
- Assess staff learning needs and provide clinical instruction
- Support staff development and professional growth
- Assist in maintaining high standards of patient care
- Provide direct patient care when necessary
Requirements
- Current RN licensure in Oregon
- BLS and ACLS certification (required)
- PALS certification (preferred)
- 3–5 years of ICU experience
- Clinical preceptor experience
- Knowledge of adult learning principles
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
