This is a full-time, exempt position located at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center. Typical work schedule is Monday-Friday, day shift. This is not a virtual (remote) position.

About the role

The Clinical Nurse Educator fosters a climate of life-long learning, promotes organizational values, supports creative and critical thinking, and creates an environment that facilitates change, open communication, adult learning, collaborative relationships, and professional growth. The Clinical Nurse Educator develops, coordinates, and evaluates educational programs for the orientation and work force development of staff within the Department of Nursing.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, coordinate, and evaluate educational programs for nursing staff orientation and workforce development.
  • Foster a climate of lifelong learning and professional growth.
  • Promote organizational values, creative and critical thinking, and a culture that supports change and open communication.
  • Support collaborative relationships within the Department of Nursing.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
  • Oregon Registered Nurse License (upon hire).
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association (upon hire).
  • 5 years of current clinical and/or educational experience in Nursing.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Critical Care RN work experience (preferred).
  • Master's Degree in Nursing or related field (preferred). Applicants currently enrolled in a graduate program will be considered with an agreement to complete the graduate degree within two years.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $50.14 - $77.83 per hour. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
