About the role
Join a dynamic Emergency Department as a Registered Nurse in a full-time role, working 36 hours weekly during night shifts from 7pm to 7am, including rotating weekends and holidays.
Responsibilities
- Providing coordinated, high-quality care to Observation, Inpatient, and Swing patients in a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital, with a patient/nurse ratio of 5:1.
- Collaborate closely with the Therapy department to support patient recovery and restore pre-hospitalization lifestyles.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Current RN license in the state or valid compact licensure.
- Experience is preferred but not required; at least six months as an LPN or RN is advantageous.
- Physical ability to lift 50 pounds, stand, walk, and perform bending, kneeling, and reaching activities.
- Certifications in BLS or completion within 30 days; ACLS and other unit-specific certifications as needed (training provided if not already certified).
