Registered Nurse - NICU FT Nights

About the role

The RN Clinical Nurse collaborates within an interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, safe, and patient-centered care. They follow evidence-based practices, uphold professional standards, and support system policies to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing processes including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Provide relationship-based, culturally sensitive care tailored to patient needs.
• Engage patients and families through effective communication and shared decision-making.
• Coordinate and document safe, quality care using inclusive team communication methods.
• Participate in performance improvement, research, and shared governance activities.
• Serve as a preceptor or mentor to foster a competent workforce and healthy work environment.
• Promote evidence-based practice, clinical research, and adherence to safety standards.
• Contribute to protocol development and resource management for optimal outcomes.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor’s Nursing degree (Bachelor’s preferred).
• Valid RN license, with multi-state or single-state licensure.
• All certifications required upon hire, including BLS and NRP.
• Minimum of 5 years of direct patient care experience.
• Demonstrate professionalism, teamwork, and initiative, supporting continuous learning and system improvements to enhance patient care and safety.
