Responsibilities

• Affirms patients’ physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs through observation, interviews, and review of medical records and clinical data.
• Develops and implements patient care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, observing outcomes in accordance with nursing standards.
• Demonstrates competency in therapeutic and diagnostic interventions, including IVs, wound care, medication administration, catheterization, and specimen collection.
• Advocates for and protects the health, safety, and rights of each patient.
• Provides patient and family education based on assessment of learning readiness, needs, and ability, and evaluates the effectiveness of teaching.

Requirements

• Associate's of Nursing [Required]
• Bachelor's of Nursing [Preferred]
• Knowledge of organizational procedures and interpersonal communication skills [Required]
• Verbal and customer relations skills [Required]
• Knowledge of grammar and spelling [Required]
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions [Required]
• Ability to follow verbal instructions [Required]
• Keyboarding (manual) [Required]

• Electronic Health Record Experience [Preferred]
• 1+ medical office experience [Preferred]
