About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for a Neuro Rehabilitation role.
Responsibilities
- Conduct initial and ongoing health assessments and develop personalized care plans for residents with complex medical needs.
- Manage medication administration, evaluation, documentation, and collaborate with physicians and case managers.
- Provide clinical supervision to Program Nurse LPNs and support Rehab Techs.
- Monitor treatment procedures and protocols, ensuring safe and accurate care delivery.
- Document medical interventions and resident health status in electronic records.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and treatment planning sessions.
- Respond to emergency and crisis situations using established protocols.
- Lead infection control procedures and promote safe residential practices.
- Assist with resident orientation, training modules, and skills assessments.
- Support resident satisfaction and the mission through compassionate, high-quality care.
Qualifications
- Valid RN license in good standing with the State of Michigan.
- Preferred: one-year experience in a residential or rehabilitation setting.
Skills and Attributes
- Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and medication management skills.
- Ability to provide supervision and training to staff.
- Ability to respond effectively to emergencies and adhere to safety protocols.
