Registered Nurse - Neuro ICU - PT Days

About the role

The Registered Nurse - Neuro ICU provides direct patient care and serves as a healthcare team leader by establishing personalized relationships with patients and their support systems. They collaborate with physicians and team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans that promote health or support a peaceful death, using evidence-based practices and compassion. The nurse is responsible, accountable, and authorized to manage care in accordance with current policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; current RN license in the appropriate state.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree and one year of relevant experience.
• Successful completion of a Board-approved refresher course required if licensure has been inactive for five years or more.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver optimal care.
• Utilize scientific evidence and compassion in patient navigation.
• Manage and provide care responsibly, following policies and procedures.
