Role Overview
Provides nursing care in inpatient Medical Neuro and Neuro ICU units, assessing patients, coordinating care plans, and ensuring safe, timely interventions. Communicates effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams, and tailors education to meet individual needs. Participates in quality improvement initiatives and maintains current nursing knowledge.
Qualifications & Skills
- Associate's degree or BSN from an accredited school
- Current Illinois nursing license
- CPR certification (American Heart Association)
- ACLS certification within 3 months of hire
- Preferred: Relevant nursing experience
