Registered Nurse - Neonatal ICU

Role Overview: This position is for a registered nurse in a Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) supporting advanced neonatal care and neonatal transport team activities. Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care, education, and care transitions for a diverse neonatal patient population, including premature and critically ill infants.Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver compassionate, evidence-based neonatal care.Support the neonatal transport team in safe, timely transfers of newborns requiring specialized care.Participate in quality improvement, mentorship, and leadership activities, including precepting new staff.Adhere to the professional nursing practice model, ensuring comprehensive planning, implementation, and evaluation of care. Qualifications & Skills Graduate of an accredited nursing program with at least one year of RN experience.Current RN license and BLS certification; additional state licensure or specialty certifications as required.Excellent communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills.Ability to work flexible hours, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.Experience with electronic medical records preferred.
