Registered Nurse - Mother/Baby (Part Time)

About the role

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides safe, effective, and patient-centered care by utilizing the nursing process, evaluating care effectiveness, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. Specializes in Mother Baby care, supporting mothers and newborns during postpartum, ensuring smooth transitions home with compassionate, family-centered support.

Responsibilities

• Uphold patient rights and maintain confidentiality
• Perform duties aligned with organizational standards
• Deliver patient-focused care and evaluate care quality
• Coordinate with team members to ensure optimal outcomes

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program (associate's, diploma, or BSN)
• Current RN licensure
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Additional certifications (e.g., ACLS, NRP, PALS) may be required based on unit-specific needs

Skills & Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly
• Stand and walk for extended periods
• Perform physical tasks such as reaching, bending, and kneeling
