The Women's Health Unit at Loyola University Medical Center offers a rotating shift PRN position for a Registered Nurse (RN) dedicated to providing exceptional care to patients. This opportunity is located approximately 30 minutes from Downtown Chicago.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for low and high-risk laboring patients, including antepartum, scheduled, and unscheduled and emergent cesarean sections.
• Care for pregnant patients with co-morbidities such as preeclampsia, diabetes, cardiac, neurological, and respiratory conditions.
• Care for patients experiencing pre-term labor, multiple gestational pregnancy, and serious complications of pregnancy.
• Care for patients with congenital malformations or life-threatening conditions.

Requirements

• BSN degree from an accredited school/college of nursing is required.
• BLS Provider (accredited by the American Heart Association) required prior to hire.
• Illinois Board of Nursing license prior to hire.
• One year of L and D experience required.
