About the role

The Mother Baby unit at Riley Maternity Services at Methodist Hospital is a 28-bed unit focusing on postpartum care, including obstetric and holistic patient needs. It is a level 4 perinatal center and a World Health Organization Baby Friendly designated hospital.

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based care to mothers and newborns.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive patient care.
• Engage in patient education and relationship-building.
• Adapt to a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.

Requirements

• Associate of Nursing (ASN) degree; Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Indiana or NLC.
• Graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
• Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
• Advanced Life Support certifications may be required based on departmental specialty.

Qualifications

• Experience in pediatric nursing is preferred.
• Full-time night shift nursing skills.
