Registered Nurse- Mother Baby

About the role

This position is available on the Mother Baby unit at Riley Maternity Services at Methodist Hospital. The unit is a 28-bed facility focusing on postpartum care for both mothers and infants. It is a level 4 perinatal center known for its top-tier care and WHO Baby Friendly designation.

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based care to patients, addressing their medical, emotional, and social needs.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive patient care.
• Engage in ongoing education and training to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
• Build strong relationships with patients and colleagues, fostering a supportive and collaborative work environment.

Requirements

• Associate of Nursing (ASN) degree; Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
• Graduation from a nationally accredited nursing program.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the AHA.
• Advanced Life Support certifications may be required based on departmental specialty policies.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Pediatric RN is preferred.
