About the role
Position: Registered Nurse
Location: Mother Baby
Schedule: 24 Hours (Nights / Every Other Weekend)
Responsibilities
- Deliver nursing care in the Maternal Child Health/Mother Baby Department, including assessing, diagnosing, planning, intervening, evaluating, and educating patients
- Communicate with various health care team members, patients, and their families
- Cookout and manage patient records
- Enter and interpret computerized data/information
- Follow guidelines and policies established by BMC’s nursing organization
- Aid the leadership team as needed in quality improvement projects
Requirements
- Licensed to practice professional nursing as a registered nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts or the ability to obtain MA RN licensure prior to your start date
- 1+ years of Mother Baby/Postpartum experience required
- Certification in basic life support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life support (ACLS) certification required in certain units
- Nursing degree: Diploma, ASN or BSN (preferred)
- Ability to obtain BSN within 4 years
- Relevant clinical experience and/or specialty, certification required for certain practice areas
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Physical ability to meet job responsibilities
- Basic computer proficiency
- Fluency in another language a plus

Pay
NursingMCH - Maternal Child Health/Mother Baby/Labor and Delivery: $38.05- $75.33
