Registered Nurse - Mother/Baby (Nights)

The Registered Nurse (RN) utilizes the nursing process to deliver safe, effective, and patient-centered care, maintaining professional accountability for assigned patients. They evaluate the care provided by other caregivers and coordinate patient care collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams. The RN upholds patient rights, ensures confidentiality, and performs duties aligned with organizational mission, values, and standards. Specific to the Mother Baby unit, nurses provide specialized postpartum care to mothers and newborns, supporting families during early transition home. Qualifications Include Graduation from an accredited nursing program (associate's, diploma, or BSN). Current RN licensure in the relevant state or compact licensure. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; additional certifications such as ACLS, NRP, PALS, and others may be required based on unit needs. Physical Requirements Ability to lift, push, or pull 50 lbs. Prolonged standing and walking. Ability to reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
