Registered Nurse - Mother Baby - Nights

Role Overview Provides professional nursing care following the Illinois Professional Registered Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies. Utilizes critical thinking to assess patient conditions, recognize changes, develop and evaluate care plans, monitor progress, and document observations. Delegates appropriate tasks to staff and collaborates as part of a team to achieve unit goals. Key Responsibilities Assess patient needs and monitor health statusImplement and evaluate nursing care plansDelegate tasks to healthcare team membersCollaborate with team to ensure quality patient careMaintain accurate documentation of patient observations Qualifications & Skills Associate Degree or higher in Nursing; Bachelor’s Degree required within five years if highest degree is an AssociateCurrent Illinois RN licenseCPR certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross)ACLS certification within six monthsC-EFM certification within one yearNRP certification within six monthsPreferred: 2+ years of Mother Baby RN experience Additional Requirements Critical thinking, clinical assessment, delegation, teamworkAbility to work night shifts with rotating weekends and holidays
