Registered Nurse - Mother/Baby (Nights)

Role Overview: The RN utilizes the nursing process to deliver safe, patient-centered care, ensuring professional accountability for assigned patients. They evaluate the effectiveness of care provided by team members and coordinate care collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams. Maintaining patient rights and confidentiality is essential, and all duties are performed in accordance with organizational values and standards. Key Responsibilities Provide specialized postpartum care to mothers and newborns, supporting a smooth transition home.Assess patient needs, develop, and implement care plans.Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure quality care.Maintain patient rights, confidentiality, and compliance with standards. Qualifications & Skills Graduate from an accredited nursing program (associate's, diploma, or BSN).Current RN license in the state or valid compact licensure.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; additional certifications such as ACLS, NRP, PALS, or ENPC may be required based on unit needs.Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, walk, and perform various physical tasks.
