About the Role
Provides compassionate nursing care in the Intensive Care Unit, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and effective communication.
Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor individualized care plans.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary care teams to ensure seamless communication and prompt execution of medical orders.
- Monitor patient conditions, advocate for patient needs, and communicate progress to families and care teams.
- Assess patient needs early and develop comprehensive discharge plans for safe transitions.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse licensure from the appropriate state authority.
- BLS certification within 30 days of hire; ALS preferred.
- Educational requirement: diploma from an accredited nursing program or equivalent licensure.
