About the role
The role involves providing independent nursing care in a MICU setting, including assessing, planning, performing, documenting, and evaluating patient care.
Responsibilities
- Supervising unlicensed personnel
- Executing medical orders
- Assisting providers with diagnostic and treatment procedures
- Ensuring a safe, therapeutic environment
- Effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members
Requirements
- Nursing Associate Degree
- RN licensure (Minnesota or Wisconsin)
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Recent critical care experience
Qualifications
- Higher education in nursing (preferred)
- Telemetry experience (preferred)
Schedule
0.75 FTE night shift with 12-hour shifts and weekend rotations.
