Registered Nurse - Medical Telemetry

About the role

Responsible for completing all core curriculum and clinical competencies in a Nurse Residency Program, under supervision, to develop nursing skills and knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Participate actively in professional development, peer support groups, and clinical training.
• Assist in managing clinical situations, performing assessments, and developing care plans with oversight from a licensed RN.
• Provide patient care in accordance with standards, including treatments, procedures, discharge teaching, and emergency interventions.
• Record patient data accurately, interpret diagnostic results, and document care and observations.
• Delegate nursing tasks appropriately, participate in quality improvement activities, and ensure safe working conditions.
• Complete all clinical skills under supervision and adhere to organizational policies on licensure, confidentiality, infection control, and safety.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Nursing; Bachelor’s preferred.
• No prior experience required; candidates must hold or work toward RN licensure.
• Current RN license recognized in the practice state.
