About the Role
Provides patient care utilizing the nursing process, ensuring professional accountability and evaluating care effectiveness. Coordinates patient care with other departments while maintaining patient rights and confidentiality, and aligns duties with organizational standards.
Responsibilities
- Performs nursing duties during 12-hour shifts
- Supports complex diagnoses and patient needs in a collaborative team environment
- Manages patients with cardiac, respiratory, infectious, and surgical conditions
- Assists with procedures such as cath lab work and endoscopies
- Maintains patient rights and confidentiality
- Evaluates care effectiveness and collaborates across departments
Requirements
- Graduate or upcoming graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Current RN license in the state or compact licensure
- Basic Life Support certification (American Heart Association) or obtained within 30 days
- Physical ability to lift, stand, walk, reach, bend, kneel, and twist
