Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical Unit - Nights

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and gather health data involving patients, families, and healthcare teams.
• Develop and coordinate patient care plans to ensure safe, timely, and appropriate interventions.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues in person, via phone, and in writing.
• Provide individualized patient and family education tailored to their learning needs.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to evaluate nursing practice and enhance care quality.
• Maintain current knowledge of nursing standards, laws, and regulations.

Qualifications & Skills

• Successful completion of an Associate’s degree or BSN from an accredited nursing school.
• Current Illinois nursing license and CPR certification (American Heart Association).
• Charge nurse experience preferred.
