Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical Unit - Nights

Role: Registered Nurse in Medical Surgical Unit (Nights) Responsibilities Perform patient assessments and gather health data involving patients, families, and healthcare teams.Develop and coordinate patient care plans to ensure safe, timely, and appropriate interventions.Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues in person, via phone, and in writing.Provide individualized patient and family education tailored to their learning needs.Participate in quality improvement initiatives to evaluate nursing practice and enhance care quality.Maintain current knowledge of nursing standards, laws, and regulations. Qualifications & Skills Successful completion of an Associate’s degree or BSN from an accredited nursing school.Current Illinois nursing license and CPR certification (American Heart Association).Charge nurse experience preferred. Key Duties: Providing comprehensive patient care, effective communication, education, quality assessment, and adherence to professional standards.
