Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical Unit - Nights

Responsibilities

• Performing patient assessments and collecting health data involving patients, families, and healthcare teams.
• Coinciding and ensuring safe, timely, and appropriate patient care plans.
• Communicating effectively in person, via phone, and in writing with all stakeholders.
• Providing individualized patient and family education based on thorough assessments.
• Participating in quality improvement initiatives to evaluate nursing practice effectiveness.
• Maintaining current knowledge of nursing standards, laws, and regulations.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience as a charge nurse preferred.
• Associate’s degree or BSN from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Illinois nursing license and CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
